At Silk, we believe the best outcomes happen when technology innovation is paired with strong, empowered partnerships. This year at Silk’s Sales Kickoff (SKO), we had the opportunity to recognize exactly that.
We’re proud to announce Scott Chantra of Technologent as the recipient of this year’s Partner Sales Excellence Award and Greg Spencer of Technologent as the recipient of this year’s Partner Technical Excellence Award. These awards reflect not just a single deal, but a partnership built on trust, enablement, and shared success.
A Partner Win That Reflects a Bigger Story
Scott and Greg’s recognition reflects more than a single transaction – it highlights what’s possible when partners are empowered to lead complex, high-stakes customer initiatives.
In one recent engagement, Technologent worked with a large, highly regulated enterprise software provider undergoing a major shift to a SaaS delivery model in AWS. The customer had made a strategic commitment to move a core, business-critical platform to the cloud – at scale – where performance, reliability, customer onboarding speed, and cost control were all non-negotiable.
Technologent played a central role in shaping the architecture behind this transformation. By introducing Silk as the foundational storage layer, the team helped the customer build an AWS environment capable of delivering consistent high performance while keeping cloud infrastructure costs predictable and manageable as adoption grows.
Technologent’s work shows how partners can play a central role in large-scale cloud and SaaS transformations – helping customers modernize infrastructure while protecting performance and margins.
This type of win is exactly what Silk aims to enable across its partner ecosystem: giving partners the tools, flexibility, and confidence to lead meaningful transformations for their customers.
Why the Silk Partner Ecosystem Is Different
Over the past year, Silk has made deliberate investments to evolve how we work with partners – based on one simple idea: partners should be able to win more, faster, and more independently.
Here’s what changed:
A More Flexible Partner Program
We introduced a new partner agreement and program designed to give partners more flexibility in how they engage with customers – and more opportunity to earn. The result has been a dramatic increase in partner-led and partner-influenced opportunities.
Better Tools, Built for Partners
Silk expanded partner tooling so partners can run TCO analyses, sizing exercises, and architecture planning on their own. This allows partners to lead conversations earlier and with more confidence – without waiting on Silk for every step.
A Growing Channel Team
As partner engagement increased, so did Silk’s investment in channel support. We expanded the channel team to ensure partners have access to the technical, sales, and operational resources they need as deals progress.
Silk Certification Programs
This year, partners completed Silk’s first-ever certification program, earning both sales and technical certifications. These certifications enable partners to speak credibly about Silk’s value, design solutions independently, and deliver better outcomes for customers.
What These Awards Really Represent
Scott and Greg’s recognition isn’t just about closing a deal. It reflects what happens when partners are trusted to lead, equipped with the right tools, and supported by a team that’s invested in their success.
Their work shows how partners can play a central role in large-scale cloud and SaaS transformations – helping customers modernize infrastructure while protecting performance and margins.
Looking Ahead
As Silk continues to grow, our partner ecosystem will remain a core part of our strategy. We’re committed to building programs, tooling, and support structures that help partners do what they do best: deliver value to customers and grow their business.
If you’re a current or prospective partner looking to work with a platform that’s built for real-world enterprise scale – and a team that’s invested in your success – we’d love to talk.
Because at Silk, partnership isn’t an add-on. It’s foundational.
