Silk Appoints Damon Miller as Vice President of Field Engineering

BOSTON, MA – August 13, 2025 – Silk, the leader in software-defined cloud storage, today announced that Damon Miller has joined the company as Vice President of Field Engineering. In this role, Damon will lead Silk’s Solutions Architecture and Cloud Infrastructure teams, helping customers to optimize and scale their most critical workloads across AI and enterprise environments.

Damon brings over two decades of experience in technical sales and customer engineering. He has a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing technical teams at innovative companies such as BladeLogic (BMC), Sumo Logic, and CloudHealth Technologies (VMware). His deep technical expertise and customer-first mindset will be instrumental in aligning Silk’s platform with customers’ evolving needs in the cloud.
