QA Automation Engineer

About The Position

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our product through comprehensive testing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to quickly learn and acquire comprehensive, detailed knowledge of the product
  • Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts, ensuring they meet our strict quality standards
  • Design and write automation tests for product reliability, performance, and quality assurance
  • Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with development teams to resolve them
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand product changes and provide feedback on potential quality issues
  • Conduct regression testing to validate that changes and fixes do not adversely affect existing functionality
  • Participate in design and code reviews to provide a QA perspective.
  • Provide regular reports on test progress, defect status, and overall quality metrics
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, delivering weekly incremental value

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a QA manual and automation engineer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing
  • Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Experienced in a Linux working environment
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g. API testing, Cucumber)
  • Knowledge of programming languages and scripting (Python – advantage)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, Google Cloud, AWS)
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and defect management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Hebrew & English.  
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Self-learning skills
